Stanfred Metal products was established in the early 1950's and was a core supplier to both the Australian Defence force & automotive industries, producing a wide variety of small and large metal components at the highest level of quality for over 30 years.
The Shephard family have owned & operated the business since the early 1970's. Ian Shephard worked for the company as an employee for 8 years before deciding to purchase and run it as a family concern.
There have been many changes in direction for the business over the past 60 years. Today the STANFRED name is a well-known and respected brand throughout Australia & New Zealand. You can rest assured that any products under the STANFRED name are of the highest quality. Many items from our product range are required to comply with strict Australian standards and as such are subject to regular stringent testing.
Today the company uses the latest technology & equipment to manufacture their locally produced products. Stanfred has also added an extensive range of imported product sourced from some of the best manufacturers around the world.
